2 injured, more than 200 evacuated due to carbon monoxide leak at Oakville hotel

Two people have been injured and more than 200 people were evacuated from an Oakville hotel when high levels of carbon monoxide were detected.
An officer from the Halton Regional Police Service said they received reports of a gas leak at the Staybridge Suites on Wyecroft Road near Bronte Road and Highway 403.
Oakville Fire arrived at the hotel to find high levels of carbon monoxide.
Two people were showing symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning and taken to hospital, according to Oakville Fire. The severity of their symptoms is not known.
Oakville transit buses are transporting people to the Halton Regional Centre just north of the hotel.
