SRI AMARNATH YATRIS WON’T HAVE TO FACE ANY PROBLEM DURING PILGRIMAGE: KAMAL SHARMA

Srinagar: Punjab BJP president Sh. Kamal Sharma has assured the Bhandara Sanchalan Samiti’s and the pilgrims that they would not have to face any problem during the Sri Amarnath yatra. With the immense efforts of the Punjab BJP President to resolve the problems being faced by the pilgrims, a high level meeting between the J&K Deputy CM Shri Nirmal Singh, Baba Amarnath Shrine Board, top administrative officials and the office bearers of the Bhandara Sanchalan Samiti, the J&K government has assured that Sri Amarnath Yatra would be undertaken in a very smooth manner so that pilgrims do not face any problem.

Shri Sharma, who was also on pilgrimage to Sri Amarnath Yatra, went to meet various organisations who arrange langar at Baltal base camp. Representatives of various langar organisations told Mr.Sharma that on account of complex registration process, pilgrims are facing difficulty and if not simplified, it would not be possible for organizing Bhandara’s in future. Shri Sharma assured them that he would take up the matter at the senior most level in the government and today’s meeting was also part of the same process to ensure that yatra is smooth.

In today’s meeting, besides Shri Kamal Sharma, Deputy CM J&K Shri Nirmal Singh, chief secretary to Governor Shri P.K.Tripathi, Inspector General of Police Shri Javed Mujtaba Jalani, DC’s of Gandarbal, Badgaon, Srinagar and Anantnagh and administrative officials of different departments alongwith the representatives of various Bhandara Sanchalan Samiti’s were present. During the meeting, Shri Sharma said that there is immediate need to simpify the registration process and the needy yatri’s be allowed to stay in the Shivar’s of the Bhandara Sanchalan Samiti.

Shri Sharma also raised the issue of the water scarcity and inadequate public toilets on yatra route. Deputy CM J&K Shri Nirmal Singh assured that he himself is monitoring the yatra and instructions have been issued to the authorities to make sure that the pilgrims do not face any difficulty. Shri Sharma expressed his gratitude to the PDP-BJP government for positively taking up the matters highlighted by him. After the meeting, Shri Sharma also flagged off special Ambulance equipped with ICU for the pilgrims. the ambulance has been donated by the Parvati Sewa Dal, Chandigarh/Jammu.

President of Amarnath Barfani Langar Organisation(Sablo) Shri Vijay Thakur,President of Shree Amarnath Yatra Bhandara organisation (Saybo) Shri Rajan Kapoor,office bearers of the Malout Bhandara Shri Satish Asija,Harsh Rishi(Budhlada),Amar Garg(Samana),Rajesh Gupta of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (Jammu) were also present in the meeting.
