Chandigarh, Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal today expressed deep shock and anguishes over the tragic bus mishap in Laam area of Naushera sector along the Line of Control in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, in which nearly 40 passengers, majority of them from Sikh community, were feared to have been drowned due to flash floods.
Expressing grief and sorrow over this disastrous accident, the Chief Minister shared his heartfelt sympathies with the members of the bereaved families and prayed to the Almighty to give them courage and strength in this hour of crisis. Meanwhile, Mr. Badal also offered all sort of assistance to the Jammu and Kashmir government for carrying out rescue operations in fishing out the bodies of these ill-fated passengers adding that the people of Punjab and the state government were deeply shocked and saddened over this heartrending incident.
