Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
New Delhi: Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is all set to launch a new handset, Mi 5, in the market on Thursday.
However, other reports say it could be launched on Friday.
According to reports, the Xiaomi Mi 5 will feature a 5.3-inch LCD QHD display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. It will also come with Corning Gorilla Glass.
The Mi 5 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM.
However, what could be the most impressive feature of the Mi 5 is the 16MP back camera whic comes with an Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) for better picture quality and the 6MP front-facing camera.
The smartphone will be backed up by a 3,000 mAh battery.
On the storage front, the Xiaomi Mi 5 is likely to come in two variants of 16GB and 64GB. There are no news about the expandibility of the storage system though.
