Chandigarh, October 14, 2022: Following the meeting with Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on SYL, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that it has been made it clear to Haryana CM that when Punjab has no water to give, what is the need to build a canal
“When the Sutlej Yamuna Link Canal agreement was reached, Punjab had 18.56 MAF of water. Which has now reduced to 12.6 percent water. So what is the need to build a canal when there is no water. Haryana has more water than Punjab,” Punjab CM said.
