BJP equally responsible for the migration of Industrial Units from the state: Sunil Jakhar
Chandigarh, (July 11, 2015)- Taking a strong view of the recent statement given by the State Industry Minister or BJP leader Madam Mohan Mittal about the apathetic conditions of industry in the state and for not getting any attention from their ally political party Shiromani AKali Dal, Congress Leader of Opposition in the state Assembly Sunil Jakhar asked to the BJP minister Madan Mohan mittal that why he was unvoiced from the last eight years? When, he and his other fellow BJP leaders were not getting any attention from their ally political party.
Sunil Jakhar also slammed the state industry minister and also termed them equally responsible behind the migration of the industrial units from the state. He said that industrial affairs of the state was in the hands of BJP from the last 8 years and due to the droopy industrial policies and price hike of power tariffs as compare to other states have forced these industrial units to shift some other states.
He also criticized the Bhartiya Janta Party for adopting the double standards in the dealing the interests of the state and people and also put question mark over the recent outcry of the state industry minister, earlier, who never showed any concern about the conditions of the industry in the state.
He also pointed out those BJP ministers, who hold the profiles of industry ministry could not deliver anything to the state and never acted on the situation before and only issued public statements to show their innocence.
He said that it may be political compulsion of BJP to remain in the power with Shiromani Akali Dal but it was not expected that it will be on the verge of their self respect. He said that if they do not have any say in the state Government then why they were holding these ministerial profiles and have been making only money from these profiles.
He said that being as leader of opposition in the house, at number of times; I had demanded the debate in the house to discuss the overall condition of industry in the state but this BJP minister always criticized their demands and were always running away from the situations.
He said that during last eight years, thousands of industrial units including small unit could not survive in the state but as election year 2017 is coming closer, BJP leaders have been indulging in an image building politics. He said that BJP must introspect that whether they have any right to make these kind of statement, especially when they are holding the same ministry.
