WATCH: Mohammed Siraj hits helicopter shot in front of MS Dhoni on last ball of RCB vs CSK match

The highly anticipated game between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) ended with the defending champions walking away with their first win of the season.

The Ravindra Jadeja-led team won the match by 23 runs. It was a run-fest at the DY Patil Stadium as 409 runs were scored in total.

Every batter enjoyed batting on the track. Even tailenders were scoring boundaries. Mohammed Siraj also pounced on the opportunity and scored some quick boundaries. Although RCB lost the game, Siraj ensured things ended on a high for his team. The right-arm quick smashed a boundary off the last ball of the match.

But that was not the special part about it. The shot Siraj played to accumulate four runs for his team was a special one. It seemed he gave a tribute to the man standing behind the stumps. On the last ball of the 20th over, Dwayne Bravo bowled a full ball from around the wicket. Siraj opened his front leg and whipped the ball through mid-off to the long-off fence. It came out to be a helicopter shot as Siraj completed his bat’s follow-through.

Shivam Dube brings out his best!

The Tuesday evening was all about two batters. For a team that had lost four consecutive games and was heavily criticized for its approach, the game against RCB was a perfect redemption. CSK not only scored runs but scored so many of them. They registered the highest total of the season. And this was made possible by two memorable knocks from two special players.

Shivam Dube and Robin Uthappa put on a show in the middle and end overs as they accumulated 165 runs together. But more than Robin Uthappa, it was Shivam Dube who impressed everyone. Known for his lusty blows and resemblance with Yuvraj Singh, Dube brought his best version against RCB. He never allowed any bowler to settle. If his shots against spinners were brilliant, he was a beast against the pacers. His sixes straight down the ground to Akash Deep and Mohammed Siraj were a treat to watch.
