CHANDIGARH, AUGUST 13: The Vigilance Bureau today nabbed a lecturer of University College of Ghanaur (Patiala) red handed while accepting a bribe of Rs. 20,000.
Disclosing this , a spokesperson of the Vigilance Bureau said that lecturer Armaan Kumar Rajput posted at Univrsity College of Ghanaur,Patiala was nabbed on the complaint of Harkanwaljit Singh. The Spokesperson said that complainant’s sister Arshdeep Kaur, a student of B.Sc. is studying at Government Mahindra College, Patiala. The complainant has alleged that the lecturer was demanding a bribe of Rs. 20,000 for passing her in third semester exam.
The spokesperson said that the girl’s brother complained to the vigilance bureau following which a trap was laid and the lecturer was caught red handed taking bribe of Rs. 20,000.
