Chandigarh, Vigilance Bureau today nabbed a patwari in a graft case with the bribe money of Rs. 10,000.
Disclosing this here today an official spokesperson of the Punjab government said that patwari Bhura Singh, posted at revenue circle Karoda, district Bathinda and his private assistant Kuldeep Singh were nabbed on the complaint of Kulwant Singh resident of village Khanauri, district Sangrur. In his complaint to the vigilance bureau Kulwant singh alleged that the patwari Bhura Singh was demanding bribe of registration of mutation.
On the tip off, a team of vigilance bureau led by Mr. Pritipal Singh, DSP, Vigilance Bureau unit, Sangrur laid a trap and nabbed the Patwari Bhura singh and his private assistant Kuldeep Singh.
