Verizon has introduced a new tablet in its Ellipsis-branded line of budget Android tablet offerings by launching Ellipsis 8 HD, an updated version of Ellipsis 8.
The new tablet includes an 8-inch display with 1080p of resolution, powered by 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor, 3GB RAM, 16GB of storage and LTE support.
The Ellipsis 8 HD sports an 8MP camera on the back, while the previous Ellipses 8 model sports only 5MP camera on the back. Moreover, the latest tablet runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, while Ellipsis 8 is powered by Android Kit-Kat.
Verizon Ellipsis is available on Verizon website at a price of $249.99 (approx. Rs 17,000). However, the company is also offering the tablet for $99.99 (approx. Rs 6,700) with a 2-year contract and at $10.41 (approx. Rs 700) in a 24-month instalment plan.
