* Hooda and Sharma are still one and the Jan Chetna party has been created only to create confusion
* Haryana now leads from the bottom due to Hooda says SAD chief
Ambala, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal today said Haryana Jan Chetna Party chief Venod Sharma was directly responsible for the poor plight of this constituency as he failed to perform as a legislator despite being de facto chief minister of the State for a long time.
The SAD president, who held election meetings at Kathgarh,Rasulpur, Nalyola, Bhanokheri, Jandli, Layalput Basti, Jagadhri Gate and Baldev Nagar camp in Ambala City in support of SAD candidate Mr Balwinder Singh Punia, also urged the people not to be fooled by the new outfit created by Venod Sharma. “Hooda Sahab and Venod Sharma have been one earlier and continue to be one. The Haryana Jan Chetna party has been created only to confuse the people”, he added.
Mr Badal meanwhile assured the people that the SAD would take full responsibility for the development of Ambala once Punia was elected as its representative. “Chautala Sahab cannot say no to us, just like Badal Sahab can never say no to the Chautala family”, he said adding “once Punia ji is elected mla we will ask Chautala Sahab to hold his first public meeting here to listen to your problems and solve them at the spot”.
Speaking about the B S Hooda reign in Haryana, the SAD president said Hooda spent the entire last ten years heli-hopping between Chandigarh and Delhi to serve the interests of the Gandhi family. “Hooda also increased the State’s debt from Rs 20,000 crore to Rs 80,000 crore during this period due to which Haryana is now leading from the bottom and not the top as the false Rs 200 crore Haryana No 1 advertisement campaign is projecting”, Mr Badal added.
The SAD president also talked about the contribution of the Devi Lal family to Haryana. He said villages in Haryana had witnessed development only when Devi lal ji and Chautala Sahab were at the helm of affairs.
Mr Badal received massive response at all the public meetings which were also attended by senior leaders including Prof Prem Singh Chandumajra, Balwant Singh Ramoowalia and Bibi Jagir Kaur.
