Washington: Google Fit, an Android app, to trak your fitness and workout nature has been updated with new features.
The app, which is available on the Google Play Store, will now let you estimate the distance you’ve travelled and how many calories you’ve burned in a day.
Google Fit also now shows you a timeline of activities that can be grouped by days, weeks or months.
According to The Verge, users just have to enter their height, weight, and gender in their Google Fit profile and the app will make the calculations from there.
The new update has also made the app more user-friendly for those in Google’s smartwatch ecosystem, as there’s now a custom Android Wear watch face that displays the Google Fit activity ring, showing how many minutes of activity you’ve done toward your daily goal.
A new Google Fit widget has also been introduced, which can be pinned onto the users’ smartphone homescreen to remind them of their daily goals.
