Toronto police union, board reach tentative deal on new contract

Toronto, The Toronto Police Services Board has reached a tentative agreement with a union representing about 8,300 uniformed and civilian members, Chair Alok Mukherjee confirms.

Mukherjee made the announcement at the start of a board meeting Thursday afternoon, noting that the ratification process will take between four and five weeks.

No further information about the tentative agreement with the Toronto Police Association is available at this point.
