R Ashwin’s take on whether Team India can adopt ‘Bazball’ or not

Indian cricket team spinner R Ashwin also opened up on his take on whether Team India can adopt ‘Bazball’ or not. ‘Bazball’ is an explosive and aggressive way of playing Test cricket by the English cricket team. English head coach Brendon McCullum. who is also known by the name ‘Baz’, destroyed the line and length of the bowlers with his attacking and aggressive batting tactics and also achieved a lot of records for the New Zealand cricket team. Ashwin said on his YouTube channel:

That’s how our culture has always been. So, we can’t copy others’ style of play just because it worked for them. It works for them because their management is fully in with this style of play, their selectors back the players to play this way. In fact, even their crowd and Test match-watching public are backing the team in this process. But we can’t do this.
