TECNO Phantom X2 design and expected specifications are here ahead of its impending launch

The TECNO Phantom X2 is the official successor to the TECNO Phantom X and will be launched on 7th December 2022 in Dubai.

To amp up the excitement for the event and the product itself, a few significant features of the smartphone have been revealed by the brand ahead of its launch. TECNO has revealed that the upcoming smartphone will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, and will be equipped with the Eagle Eye lens camera technology. Apart from the official communication, there are also a few rumours doing the rounds thanks to leaks revealed by TechArena24.

What features will the TECNO Phantom X2 have?

The TECNO Phantom X2 is rumoured to sport a 6.8-inch full-HD+ curved Super AMOLED display that has a 120Hz refresh rate. Based on the images leaked of the device, this smartphone is likely to have a triple rear camera setup with a 64MP primary shooter. Reports indicate that the smartphone will also have a gimbal camera that should help with better stabilisation while capturing images and videos. The gimbal camera could also function as an ultra-wide and macro lens. The smartphone has a centre-hole punch in the display that is said to house a 32MP selfie camera.

Additionally, it is believed that the smartphone will come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The storage will be expandable provided you use a MicroSD card. The TECNO Phantom X2 will also have a large 5,100 mAh battery capacity. It will also have a USB Type C port for charging and a fingerprint scanner for security.

TECNO Phantom X features

The TECNO Phantom X was launched in May 2022 and was offered at a price of ₹25,999. The smartphone was equipped with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and ran on the MediaTek Helio G95 chipset. It is currently unclear when the TECNO Phantom X2 will be released in India.
