Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Mumbai: The thing about dreams is, that they sometimes come true. Ever since Sunny Leone decided to act in Hindi films, it was her dream to work with a top actor. But because of her past as an adult film star, A-List actors shied away from working with her. She continued to be the big draw in her films because no Khan, Kumar or Kapoor was willing to be paired with her on screen. But that changed last month.
The actress who was shooting in Goa for her TV show Splitsvilla got a call to be part of Akshay Kumar’s next film Singh Is Bling. They SIB cast and crew was also shooting at Goa at the time, and they decided to add a cameo in the film. When they learnt that Sunny was also in Goa, they approached her and she said “Yes” instantly. Says a source from Splitsvilla, “Though it was a tight schedule for her, she couldn’t let go of an opportunity to share screen space with a huge star like Akshay. She requested for a day off from shooting her TV show to shoot with the Khiladi.”
The makers of the film want her cameo to be a surprise and so have kept it under wraps. But Sunny could not contain her excitement. After her shoot, the actress posted on Twitter: “Today, I had the opportunity to do something only dreams are made of. It’s one step to hopefully new beginnings. Living the good life!” It was a random tweet and no one knew what the actress was talking about. Well, now the cat is out of the bag.
