Sunil Jakhar writes to Speaker about burning issues of the state

Sunil-Jhakhar1
Chandigarh, Sunil Jakhar write a letter Dr. Charnjit Singh Atwal,Hon’ble Spekear,Punjab Vidhan Sabha, about burning issues of the state.

Letter

The Congress Legislative Partybelieves that there are so many burning issues in the State that need to be discussed immediately in the Punjab Vidhan Sabha. The last session of Punjab Vidhan Sabha was held in July, 2014. Even as per constitutional provision the Vidhan Sabha has to meet within six months from the date of its last sitting. Hence the        session of the Punjab Vidhan Sabhashould be convened without any    further delay.

I also take this oppotunity to request you to ensure that there are sufficient number of sittings of the Vidhan Sabha. This is required so as to enable enough time to all members to participate in these important discussions. You Sir, yourself have on number of occassions expressed your concern over the ever reducing duration of the sessions.I stronly urge you to take up this matter with the Government and have atleast ten       sittings of this winter session so that all the important issues concerning people of Punjab are discussed.
I am enclosing a list of some of the issues that the Congress  Legislative Party wants to discuss in this session.

Thanking you,

With regards,
Yours sincerely,

( SUNIL JAKHAR )
