Navjot Sidhu is not baptized so he is not a patit – Sehajdhari Sikh Party
Chandigarh, The controversial demand by various Sikh Organizations to summon the Amritsar former Member of Parliament Navjot Singh Sidhu on Sri Akal Takht Sahib for apologizing has gained momentum on regular statements by the leaders of Akali Dal and its sponsored so called Sikh Organisations like Sikh Student Federations , but if Sri Akal Takht summons Mr.Sidhu it will directly recognize the Sehajdharis as Sikhs said Dr.Paramjeet Singh Ranu National President of Sehajdhari Sikh Party (SSP). He stated that Sidhu is a born Sikh and belongs to a Jatt Sikh family and has full faith in Sri Guru Granth Sahib and has no other religion and he being non-baptized (Non-Amritdhari) is a Sehajdhari Sikh and not a patit. Only an Amritdhari Sikh becomes patit when he violates the Amrit by committing any of the four transgression as prescribed by the tenth Guru Sri Guru Gobind Singh claimed Dr.Ranu.
