New Delhi/Chandigarh, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal has appealed toDelhi voters to become partners in the development of the country as well as Delhi by reposing faith in the BJP-SAD alliance.
Addressing a mammoth public gathering at Khyala in favour of SAD candidate Manjinder Singh Sirsa, the SAD president said Delhi would develop by leaps and bounds in case the same party held the reins of power in the State as well as the centre. “In case anyone gets misled by the propaganda mouthed by AAP, the State would see a return to confrontation and a paralysis in government as had happened during the earlier 39 day AAP rule”.
Mr Badal said Prime minister Narendra Modi had already declared that he had a vision for Delhi and the people of Delhi should give him a chance to implement this vision.
The SAD president also lauded the development work done by the akali candidate in the constituency and urged the entire Punjabi community to unite in his favour.
Mr Manjinder Sirsa while speaking on the occasion said the emergence of the SAD inDelhi and in Rajouri Gardens had led to the end of goondaism being propagated by the Congress in the area.
