Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal today said the Congress has suffered a landslide shock in the Dhuri by poll due to the anti-Punjab campaign conducted by it.
While meeting newly elected Dhuri MLA Mr. Gobind Singh Longowal who called upon him here Mr. Badal said the Congress was daydreaming in Dhuri but the wise electorate had cleared the air by giving a historic mandate in favour of development oriented agenda of the SAD-BJP alliance. Mr. Badal also asked the Dhuri MLA to come with detailed proposals of development works pending in his constituency so that development of Dhuri could be fast-tracked.
While expressing gratitude to Mr. Badal and electorate of Dhuri, Mr. Longowal said he will leave no stone unturned for the all round development of his constituency. He said the misleading propaganda of Congress Party had fallen flat. Mr. Longowal assured the people of Dhuri that it will witness unprecedented and record development under the able guidance of Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal and dynamic leadership of Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal.
