PUNJAB DIVIDED INTO FIVE ZONES, ZONAL PRESIDENTS APPOINTED
HARDWORKING LEADERS AND WORKERS GIVEN DUE REPRESENTATION
Chandigarh : The Shiromani Akali Dal President and Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal today announced office bearers of the SC wing of the party after consultations with SC wing President and Punjab Cabinet Minister Mr. Gulzar Singh Ranike.
In a statement released from the party head office here today, the party Secretary and Spokesman Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema said that all the hard working leaders and workers have been given due representation in the SC wing of the party. As per the list Mr. Charanjit Singh Atwal has been nominated as Chief Patron whereas Gurdev Singh Badal, Bibi Satwant Kaur Sandhu and Sukhdev Singh Libra have been made Patron of the wing.
Dr. Cheema further said that a disciplinary committee has also been formed of the wing in which senior leaders have been included Charanjit Singh Atwal Speaker Punjab Vidhan Sabha has been nominated as Chairman, Bibi Satwant Kaur Sandhu, Sarwan Singh Phillour and Justice Nirmal Singh have been nominated as members.
Those leaders who have been nominated as Senior Vice President included Sohan Singh Thandal, Sher Singh Ghubaya, Gobind Singh Longowal, Bibi Parmjit Kaur Gulshan, Chitan Singh Samao, Vijay Danav, Dr. Sukhwinder Sukhi and Labh Singh Devinagar.
Sarwan Singh Phillaur former minister has been nominated as Secretary General of the wing.
Those who have been nominated as Vice President included Manjit Singh Mianwind MLA, Malkiat Singh AR, Kewal Singh Badal, Sukhwinder Singh Jhabal, Chaudhary Yashpal, Naresh Dhigan, Subhash Sondhi Jalandhar, Pakhar Singh Nimana, Ramesh Thapar Jalandhar, Om Parkash Gabbar and Randeep Singh Gill Amritsar.
Similarly those who have been name General Secretary included Bibi Mohinder Kaur Josh, Des Raj Dhugga, Pawan Kumar Tinu, Sant Balbir Singh Ghunas, Inderiqbal Singh Atwal and Raj Kumar Atikai whereas Manjit Singh Mehton and Darshan Singh Shivjot have been made office Secretary.
Harpreet Singh Malout MLA will be Press Secretary of the wing.
Bikramjit Singh Khalsa, Darshan Lal Jethumajra and Deepak Kumar Kala Bakra have been name Joint Secretary wheras Bikramjit Singh Khalsa, Inderiqbal Singh Atwal and Deepak Kumar Kala Bakra have also been nominated as Spokesman.
Dr. Cheema further disclosed that members who have been included in the Advisory Board are Bibi Satwinder Kaur Dhaliwal, Mr. Avinash Chander, Chief Parliamentary Secretary, Mr. Gurtej Singh said ghuriana. Darshan Singh Shivalik, d. Baljit Singh jalalausamam, Bibi vanidara K. Long, Ms. Gill Kaur bhagike, five legislators, Mr. Ajaypal Singh mirankota and . Satpal Singh jhoraram include the name of Ludhiana. Similarly the legal cell has been formed in which Justice (retd) Nirmal Singh, MLA has been appointed Chairman of the cell whereas Mr. SR Clare Member Secretary, Mr. Guradirapala Singh Lalli ranike, Advocate Rajinder Kaur of Tarn Taran, Advocate Gurbachan Singh Mohali, Advocate Tejinder Singh Amrtisar, Advocate amanabira Singh Sayali and advocate Gurpreet Singh Amritsar Amritsar, have been nominated as a member.
Dr. Cheema said the after dividing the state into five zones, Zonal Preisdents of the SC wing has been appointed president according to which Joginder Singh Jindu MLA has been nominated President of the Malwa Zone 1 in which districts of Bathinda, Mansa, Sri Mukatsar Sahib, Fazilka, Ferozepur and Faridkot have been included. Malwa Zone 2 President will be Darshan Singh Shivjot in which Patiala, Fatehgarh Sahib, Ropar and Mohali have been included. Malwa Zone 3 will be lead by Bhag Singh Mangarh Chairman Zila Parishad Ludhiana and it will have districts of Sangrur, Barnala, Moga and Ludhiana. Doaba Zone will be lead by Darshan Singh Kotkarar Khan and it will have districts of Jalandhar, Kapurthala, Hoshiarpur and Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar. Similarly Majha Zone will be lead by Pargat Singh Banwalipur and it will have Amritsar, Tarantaran, Gurdaspur and Pathankot districts as territories.
