SUKHBIR BADAL ANNOUNCES NEW FLEET OF 250 BUSES FOR PRTC

PRTC* Er. Winnerjit Goldy assumes charge as Vice Chairman of PRTC

Chandigarh, May 20: Engineer Winnerjit Singh Khadial (Goldy) today assumed charge as vice chairman of Pepsu Road Transport Corporation (PRTC) in the presence of Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal today here at PRTC Depot.

On this occasion Mr. Badal said he was fully confident that Er. Winnerjit will take PRTC to new heights of success. He said Punjab is all set to include a fleet of new 250 buses in PRTC out of which 150 buses would be brought under kilometre scheme. He said this fleet will become part of the existing fleet of 873 PRTC buses by the end of October.

Mr. Badal also informed that PRTC would also going to dedicate its under construction bus stands at Rama Mandi and Fridkot very soon to the public and will also complete the construction of Bus Stand at Sangrur as soon as possible for which, the foundation has been laid by the Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal.

The newly appointed vice-chairman of PRTC said he will leave no stone unturned to strengthen and development of PRTC under the able guidance of Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal and visionary leader of the country Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal.

Prominent amongst those present on the occasion included Transport Minister Mr. Ajit Singh Kohar, Finance Minister Mr. Parminder Singh Dhindsa, Revenue Minister Mr. Bikram Singh Majithia, CPS Mr. Parkash Chand Garg and Chairman PRTC Mr. Avtar Singh Brar, Mr. Manjit Singh Narang Managing Director PRTC, along with his hundreds of supporters.
