Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Mr Sukhbir Singh Badal who also holds the portfolio of Excise and Taxation Department today sanctioned tax free status for Punjabi movie “Char Sahibzade” based on life and sacrifice of Char Sahibzade of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
Announcing this here , Deputy Chief Minister Mr Sukhbir Singh Badal said that he has allowed tax free status to this religious movie to educate our present generation regarding the unparalleled and supreme sacrifice of Char Sahibzada’s of tenth Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, who made supreme sacrifice for unity and integrity of the country and to ensure religious freedom to every citizen.
He said that the Shiromani Akali Dal-Bharatiya Janta Party government always encouraged Punjabi cinema that gave social and religious message for the upliftment of the society and would continue to encourage filmmakers to make movies on such subjects. He has issued orders to Excise and Taxation Commissioner to issue a notification in this regard with immediate effect.
