Government must give Job to a family member of all victim families of Gurdaspur Terror attack: Sunil Jakhar
Jakhar demands all party meeting to discuss the issue of Terrorism and other prevailing situations in Punjab
Chandigah (August 05, 2015) The leader of opposition in Punjab Vidhan Sabha Sunil Jakhar has slammed the state Government for not adopting a uniform policy in the distribution of jobs for the victims of Terrorists attack. He also blamed the state Government for doing discrimination in providing jobs to the victim families of Gurdaspur Terror attack here on Wednesday.
Leader of opposition Sunil Jakhar along with MLA from Dinanagar Aruna Chaudhary alleged that the state government for doing politics over the distribution of jobs among the victim’s family of terrorist attack. Sunil Jakhar also mentioned that the state Government have only announced jobs to the selective family. He said that where the state Government has announced job for a kin of deceased Amarjit Singh, Dhaba Owner, who was killed in the terror attack, there state Government could not announce anything to the family members of Ghulam Rasool and Nirmla Devi, who were also killed by the terrorists in the attack.
He slammed the state Government for adopting this biased attitude towards the victim families of the terrorism. He also raised question mark over the silence of the BJP (Bhartiya Janta Party) for playing the role mute spectator in the case.
Sunil Jakhar demanded the government jobs for all victims of the terror attack and also reminded the state Government to announce jobs for terror victims without falling late. He also suggested that Chief Minister must call all party meeting to discuss this issue of terrorism along with other prevailing condition in Punjab. He said that state Government should take some stringent steps to avoid such incidents in the future, so that the people of the state could live peacefully along with communal harmony.
