Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh,Punjab BJP President Kamal Sharma has welcome the announcement made by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi of giving Rs 5 lakh each to the kin of 3325 victims of the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.
In a statement issued here today, Sharma said that what happened in 1984 when thousands of innocent Sikhs were butchered was most unfortunate. He said its sad that the persons guilty for this carnage have not been punished yet & also the victims were not given proper compensation. He further said the step taken by Centre would help in rehabilitation of the victim families
He once again expressed thanks towards the BJP led NDA government.
