Soon a movie on Badal’s life : Sukhbir

Gidderbaha, The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) is all set to make a movie on the life of its patron Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal.The party president and Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal today announced that the party was gathering material to make a movie on the Chief Minister. He was speaking at the residence of Gidderbaha constituency in charge Hardeep Singh ‘Dimpy’ Dhillon, where he addressed an impressive gathering.Sukhbir appealed to the people to hand over to the party their photographs with the Chief Minister on various occasions.“We will frame the photographs and display these at the party office at Badal village and in Chandigarh,” the Deputy CM said.He said the movie would also depict the party’s history. Striking an emotional chord with the residents of the Gidderbaha segment, he said: “You people have a special place in CM Sahib’s heart as you have turned him victorious in the past.”Without naming any date, he announced that the shooting for the movie would be started from the Gidderbaha constituency.
