Solanki to initiate Chandigarh’s Mass awareness campaign against drugs today

Chandigarh, Nov 15: Initiating Joshi Foundation’s Mass Awareness campaign against drug abuse in Chandigarh, the Governor Punjab & Haryana and Administrator UT Chandigarh Prof Kaptan Singh Solanki will administer oath to the youngsters at DAV College on Nov 16.

Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Vijay Sampla, MP Rajya Sabha & National Vice President BJP Avinash Rai Khanna, Principal, DAV College, Chandigarh Dr. BC Joshan, Sah Prant, Sanghchalak, RSS Punjab Brig (Retd) Jagdish Gagneja, Educationist Advisor to President, DAV management, H.R.Gandhar, Chairman, Khadi Board, S. Harjit Singh Grewal, Renowned International Cardiologist, Dr HK Bali, Chairman, Continental group of Institutes and Chairman & Managing Director, WWICS Group Lt. Col. B.S. Sandhu (Retd.), Chancellor Rayat-Bahra University S Gurvinder Singh Bahra and Saurabh Joshi, Councilor MC Chandigarh will also be among those taking cudgel against problem of drug addiction, detailed Vineet Joshi, Chairman Joshi Foundation and asst Media Advisor Punjab.

Vineet Joshi said that this initiative was in continuation with the Joshi Foundation’s battle against drugs with collective efforts of society. We have organized more than forty two anti-drug mass awareness programs in Punjab so far.

At Chandigarh as an initial step the foundation organized a round table conference of eminent personalities/ society leaders/ principals/management/ directors of prominent schools on 27th of October at PU. Now we are initiating Chandigarh’s Mass Awareness drive against drugs from DAV College Chandigarh.

Founded in the memory of Late Shri Jai Ram Joshi the former state president BJP Chandigarh and his dynamic son late Sh Navneet Joshi, the Joshi Foundation aims to understand solution for drug addiction and hence decided to launch awareness campaign.
