Shubhankar finishes T-15 in China

Beijing, Going on a birdie spree towards the end, Shubhankar Sharma fired a 5-under 67, his best card of the week, to finish tied-15th at the China Open.
The 21-year-old finished at 12-under 276, best among all Indians in the fray. He had six birdies, three of them in the last four holes.
Sharma, who leads the Asian Tour’s Habitat for Humanity rankings, is also second behind Masters champion Patrick Reed on the Race to Dubai standings. Alexander Bjork became the first Swede to lift the trophy after he closed with a bogey-free 7-under 65 to win by one shot. The 27-year-old, who started the round one shot back, rolled in seven birdies for a winning total of 18-under and a maiden title on both the European Tour and the Asian Tour.
Arjun Atwal (71) was tied-32nd, Gaganjeet Bhullar, who at one stage rose to tied-2nd earlier in the week, ended at tied-63rd, while Shiv Kapur (71) was tied-66th and Khalin Joshi (79) was tied-68th.
Adrian Otaegui of Spain birdied the last to sign for a second straight 67 and finish in second place. Ashun Wu made a hole-in-one of the 158-yard par-three 13th hole. It was the third hole-in-one of the week.
Aditi in with a chance of top-10 finish
San Francisco: A brilliant streak of four birdies in five holes saw Aditi Ashok finish her third round at tied-10th at the LPGA Mediheal Championship. Aditi, still looking for her first top-10 finish of the season, is at 4-under with rounds of 73, 71 and 68. Meanwhile, Lydia Ko had the 54-hole lead on the LPGA Tour for the first time in 658 days. Ko shot a 67 to lead by two at 11-under par.
Gangjee finishes tied-57th

Nagoya (Japan): Rahil Gangjee slipped on the final day with a disastrous 5-over 75, including a triple-bogey on the 15th, as he finished tied-57th in the Japan Golf Tour’s Crowns Tournament. Meanwhile, 2009 PGA Championship winner YE Yang of Korea won his first title since 2010.
