Shraddha Kapoor is one talented actress. Not only has she won hearts with her acting and looks in movies like ‘Ek Villain’ and ‘Haider’, but also mesmerised the audience with her soulful voice as she sang the unplugged version of the song ‘Galliyan’ from ‘Ek Villain’.
‘Ek Villain’ went on to become one of the top chartbusters of 2014 and the song crooned by her reigned supreme. Post that the actress also sang a Kashmiri folk number in ‘Haider’.
The actress got formal recognition for her singing talent at the music awards which were recently held.
Shraddha was overwhelmed at such an honour and got emotional as she went up on the stage to receive the award. She dedicated the award to her mother who was sitting in the audience.
When asked about the honour, Shraddha shared, “It was a very emotional moment for me to get this kind of a recognition for one of my other passions; singing. It was all the more special as my mom sat there in the audience, beaming with pride.”
Shraddha Kapoor is now busy shooting for Remo DSouza’s ‘ABCD 2′ opposite Varun Dhawan.
