Chandigarh, March 15: The apology by Delhi chief minister and Aad Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal to powerful Akali leader and former minister Bikram Majithia on the drug case has sent shock waves across the Punjab unit.
Shocked and stunned, AAP’s legislature party leader in Punjab has attacked this apology as a “meek surrender” saying he was appalled and stunned by this apology.
He expressed his views in the following tweet:

We’re appalled n stunned by the apology of @ArvindKejriwal tendered today,we don’t hesitate to admit that we haven’t been consulted on this meek surrender by a leader of his stature-khaira.
Party MLA Kanwar Sandhu separately said the apology was a let down to the people of Punjab. “We have not been taken in the loop”, he added.
Both Khaira and Sandhu said their fight for Punjab and against drugs would continue.
