Sena: Withdraw voting rights of Muslims

Mumbai, Amidst indications that the 80,000 strong voters from the Muslim community came out in large numbers to vote in the by-elections for the Bandra East Assembly poll on Saturday, the Shiv Sena today called for members of the minority community to be disenfranchised.
“Balasaheb (party founder Bal Thackeray) was right in saying that the right to vote must be taken away from the Muslims…. The Muslim community is being used to play vote-bank politics in the guise of fighting against injustice meted out to them.
