Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, The Punjab government has appointed Mrs.Satvir Kaur Manhera, Member Punjab State Women Commission as the Vice Chairperson of the Commission.
Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the Chief Minister said that the notification with regard to her appointment, under sub-section (2) (a) and (b) of Section-3 of Punjab State Commission of Women (Amendment) Act, 2014 has been issued by the Social Security and Women & Child Development department. It may be recalled that Mrs. Satvir Kaur Manhera is the wife of late Mr. Mann Singh Manhera.
