Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, The Shiromani Akali Dal will contest the forthcoming Municipal Corporation, Municipal Council and Nagar Panchayat elections on party symbol.
In a statement released from the party head office here today, the SAD Secretary and Spokesman Dr. Daljit singh Cheema said that the party candidates will use the party symbol ‘scales’ in the ensuing Municipal Corporation, Municipal Committee and Nagar Panchayat elections He said that the party President Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal has directed all the district observers of the party to ensure that the candidates of the party contesting these elections use the party symbol. He said that letter of authority have been prepared in the party head office and will be delivered to the party observers without any delay.
