Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal called Budget 20190-20 “revolutionary” with the potential to take “India’s development and progress to a higher level”.
“The Budget is strong, well-focused and revolutionary,” Badal, a Member of Parliament from Ferozepur, said.
“It aims to create next level of entrepreneurial climate in the country. It seeks to convert the jobless youth into entrepreneurs,” he said, adding that it puts the spot-light on villages, farmers and the poor.
“Taking note of the over-exploitation and shrinking underground water reserves in the country, it has laid thrust on water preservation. This hold importance, especially in the context of Punjab,” he said.
