SAD-BJP Co-ordination Committee meets senior officers in Chandigarh

Chandigarh,  The meeting of SAD-BJP co-ordination Committee held in Chandigarh today and deliberated for strengthening ties between both parties by resolving the issues of conflicting opinion on tax structure and civic services in urban areas. The senior leaders from the Akali Dal including Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, Ranjit Singh Bramhpura and Balwinder Singh Bhunder attended the meeting. From BJP side the senior leaders including Ashwani Sharma, Rajinder Bhandari and M L Ratti participated.
The meeting called senior officers of Excise and Taxation , Housing and Local Bodies departments and elicited their view points on issues of VAT on various goods and also sought their suggestions for rationalizing the tax structure in the State. The sources said that the leaders of the co-ordination committee may also seek views of the representatives of the public and members of the Trading community. After that the committee will finalize its recommendations and send to the Government for taking necessary decisions. ..
