Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, May 27: The Punjab Government has invited recommendations from the public regarding Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri awards to be given during Republic Day, 2016 to be submitted to Union Government.
Disclosing this, an official spokesperson said that the recommendations must be sent within one month to the state government. The spokesperson further elaborated that the 10 copies each in English and Punjabi of the details of the concerned person (in Citation and Performa) must be sent along with the recommendations in accordance with the instructions of Government of India.
The spokesperson also divulged that citation must be error free and must only be sent after thorough verification about the antecedents of the person.
