Bathinda, September 15: Queering the pitch, rebel AAP group in Punjab has convened all-party meeting in Chandigarh on September 21 to discuss the launching of agitation pressing for action against those responsible for sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib in 2015 and related incidents.
Addressing the media here, group chief Sukhpal Singh Khaira said besides political parties, farmers organisations and other groups demanding justice would be invited to the meeting. All sections of society would be mobilised for this purpose.
He announced total support to Insaaf Morcha staging dharna at Bargari since June 1 in this campaign including participating in rallies in case organised.
Khaira slammed the rally being organised by the Shiromani Akali Dal at Faridkot on September 16 and termed it as provocative.
He accused Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh for soft-pedalling the issue by providing the window to the police officials named in Justice Ranjit Singh report to get stay from Punjab and Haryana High Court.
