Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, September 2: Underlining the commitment of the Punjab Government for the overall development and welfare of the citizens belonging to the SC & BC communities, Mr. Gulzar Singh Ranike, Welfare Minister reviewed differentwelfare schemes here with the high officials of the department.
Welfare Minister while taking stock of the progress of the welfare schemes asked the officers to make sure that the deserving beneficiaries must derives the real benefit of the schemes. He also instructed the officers to make a foolproof service delivery mechanism so as to minimise the hurdles for these under privileged sanctions.
Prominent amongst others who were present in the meeting included secretary welfare Mr. Kirpa Shankar Saroj, Director Mrs. Alaknanda Dayal , Sh. Chaman Lal Wasan, Director, Schedule Caste Sub Plan along with the other officers of the department.
