Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi exchanged rings on June 9 in an intimate ceremony. The couple treated fans with pictures from the engagement ceremony at midnight while showing off their rings.
Varun looked dapper in a white kurta pyjama, while Lavanya looked lovely in a pistachio-hued saree. Varun’s cousin Ram Charan and his pregnant wife Upasana Konidela were also among the others on the guest list.
RAM CHARAN-UPASANA KONIDELA CONGRATULATE VARUN-LAVANYA
Parents-to-be Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela, who were also spotted arriving at Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi’s engagement, took to Instagram and congratulated the couple. Ram shared a picture with Varun-Lavanya and his wife Upasana. “Varun & Lavanya, love you guys. Heartiest congratulations (sic),” the RRR actor wrote.
Mom-to-be Upasana Konidela also took to Instagram and shared similar pictures. She welcomed Lavanya into the family while sharing her excitement for the wedding. “Welcome to the Konidela family, dearest Lavanya.Looking forward to celebrating my dearest thodi kodalu. Varunnnnnn soooooo happy for you (sic),” she wrote.
PAWAN KALYAN AT VARUN-LAVANYA’S ENGAGEMENT
Varun Tej’s uncle Pawan Kalyan was also spotted at the engagement. Pictures of his visit and gifting a bouquet to the couple have gone viral. The reports further reveal that the two will tie the knot by the end of this year itself. Meanwhile, the hush-hush engagement was held on June 9 at Tej’s luxe Hyderabad residence.
Tej is the son of noted actor-producer Nagendra Babu. He is the nephew of veteran actors Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan. His cousins are Telugu superstars Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Sai Dharam Tej and Panja Vaisshnav Tej.
