Chandigarh, Punjab state youth Congress leader Rahulinder Singh Sidhu castigated Parkash Singh Badal led government for indulging in foul play in terms of making bogus blue ration cards of people belonging to above poverty line (APL) to push their political interests.
Leading a dharna of hundreds of Congress workers at Moonak Chownk , Moonak , area of Lehra assembly segment in Sangrur district, Sidhu lambasted Badal government asserting that it is utterly shameful on the part of present regime in Punjab resorting to such unethical tactics of making fake ration cards of Akali leaders and workers in the region to to fulfil its own vested interests.
Not only this, he pointed out that poor people in the region who live in the category of below poverty line (BPL) had been subjected to great deal of harassment as they are facing a lot of difficulty and inconvenience to get blue ration cards issued for them.
He said that Badal government has lost the faith of common man owing to the fact that it has miserable failed on all fronts.
He said that Chief Minister Parkashsingh Badal and his son deputy chief minister, Sukhbir Singh Badal were masters of making meaningless loud rhetoric about the functioning of their government but they know the reality of having not been able to deliver and fulfil the promises made to the people of the state.
He alleged that law and order in the state has worsened adding that there is a simmering feeling of insecurity among the common man of the state. He said that corruption has reached alarming proportions and seeped into every sphere of state administration. He said that people of state have become sick of Badal government which is only interested in furthering its own personal agenda rather than caring about the welfare of people of the state.
