Bathinda, Nov 22: The Shiromani Akali Dal president and deputy CM Mr Sukhbir Badal, who was in Bathinda today to take stock of the arrangements of Sadbhavna Rally, today said Punjabis dedicated to the cause of peace harmony and brotherhood will flock the Sadbhavna Rally.
S Sukhbir Singh Badal to spread the message of peace and harmony, the rally has created great enthusiasm amongst the people of area andtomorrow’s massive gathering will put across a firm message to anti-Punjab elements that Punjabis stand for development, promotion, peace harmony and brotherhood. He added that besides Bathinda rally, Sadbhavna rallies are being held in Moga on Nov 28, at Gurdaspur on Dec 1, at Jalandhar on Dec 4 and Dec 15 at Khadoor Sahib wherein all Punjabis would gather and reiterate their dedication towards maintaining harmony in state.
Terming the past incidents in Punjab as unfortunate the deputy CM said that there were some forces that were trying to bring back the horrific times similar to that of 1980s, but the wise Punjabis will defeat such forces and prove once again that Punjab is akin to peace and give preference to all around development and brotherhood.
Answering media queries Sukhbir Singh Badal stated that Congress and radical forces’ unholy alliance has now been exposed. These two are trying to disturb the hard earned peace of Congress, but the people of Punjab are aware of their nefarious designs and will not let such forces succeed. He added that the Congress party’s real face has been unveiled and hence he has appealed the President of India to take action against Congress.
Responding to another query, the deputy CM added that every section of society was enthusiastic about the rally and it’s the people’s enthusiasm that drives SAD. He added that tomorrow’s Sadbhavna Rally will spread the message of Punjabis for propagating peace and brotherhood.
Prominent among others present with him included CPS Mr Sarup Chand Singla, Deputy CM’s political secretary Mr Paramjit Singh Sidhwan, his OSD Mr Charanjit Singh Brar, Malwa zone 1 Youth Akali Dal president Mr Kanwajit Singh Rozy Barkandi, Youth Development Board chairman Mr Parambans Singh Bunty.
Earlier Punjabi’s Rural and Panchayat Development Miniser Mr Sikandar Singh Maluka and CPS Mr Sarup Chand Singla has visited the rally venue to take stock of the arrangements.
