Punjab vigilance nabs head constable in graft case

Chandigarh,The vigilance Bureau today nabbed a Head Constable red handed accepting bribe of Rs. 5000.

Disclosing this here today an official spokesperson of the Vigilance Bureau said that Head Constable Hem Raj posted at police station Behram, District SBS Nagar was nabbed on the complaint of Jatinder Kumar S/o Ratan Lal. In his compliant to the Vigilance Bureau the complainant alleged that Head Constable Hem Raj was demanding a bribe of Rs. 5000 for evading his arrest by ignoring an arrest warrant issued by the Hon’ble court.

Acting on the tip of the complainant a team of Vigilance Bureau laid a trap and nabbed the accused red handed while accepting the bribe of Rs. 5000.
