Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Ludhiana, January 12: Punjab Revenue and Information and Public Relations Minister Bikram Singh Majithia today filed defamation suit against state incharge of Aam Aadmi Party Sanjay Singh. The suit pertains to the allegations being made by Sanjay Singh by linking Majithia’s name in the drug smuggling.
Majithia filed the suit under sections 409 and 500 of the IPC in the court of civil judge Bikramdeep Singh here. He was accompanied by PWD Minister Sharanjit Singh Dhillon, Chief Minister’s adviser Mahesh Inder Singh Grewal and several other leaders.
Talking to the media persons later, Majithia said parachute leaders like Sanjay Singh were defaming him by leveling baseless allegations.
