Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, The Punjab government today declared holiday on Wednesday, February 25,2015 in all government offices, Boards , corporations and education institutions located in 123 Municipal Council areas and Ward No. 2 of Nagar Panchayat Bariwala going for Municipal elections on that date. This holiday has also been declared under Negotiable Instrument Act 1881.
An official spokesman today said that any government servant who was voter of above mentioned Municipal councils and was performing duty outside that area and seeks leave for excising his right of franchise, the concerned authorities after verifying documents can grant him special leave for 25th February and that would not be deducted from his leave record.
