Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh,Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal today extended his warm greetings to the people of the State on 638th Parkash Utsav of Sri Guru Ravidass Ji – a great spiritual preacher and messiah of the under privileged sections of the society.
In a message, the Chief Minister said that Guru Ravidass ji propagated the ideology of love, compassion, mutual tolerance, universal brotherhood and humanity through his philosophy and strived hard to bring social equality thereby eradicating the evil of casteism from the society. “His significant contribution towards carving out a classless society would be ever remembered by one and all”, said Mr. Badal. The Chief Minister further mentioned that Sri Guru Ravidass ji preached the values of humanism through his teachings which were still relevant in the present materialistic world.
Mr. Badal also appealed the people to celebrate the ‘Parkash Utsav’ of Guru Ravidass Ji in unison by rising above the petty considerations of caste, colour and creed.
SUKHBIR GREETS PEOPLE ON PARKASH UTSAV OF GURU RAVIDAS JI
Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal today greeted the people on the occasion of Parkash Utsav of Sri Guru Ravidas ji.
Congratulating the people the Deputy Chief Minister said that Guru Ravidas ji embodied the spirit of humility and human dignity. He said that the message of Guru Ravidas ji have been a source of knowledge and wisdom for whole society. His life and teachings would always inspire us to create a humane and just society, where every individual is given due dignity, regardless of his or her caste, creed, religion or gender, he added.
Mr. Sukbir Singh Badal said that his message of love, compassion and equality would continue to inspire us to serve humanity with dedication and devotion in times to come.
MAJITHIA GREETS PEOPLE ON PARKASH UTSAV OF GURU RAVIDAS JI
Punjab Revenue & Public Relations Minister Mr. Bikram Singh Majithia has greeted the people of state on the eve of Parkash Utsav of Guru Ravidas Ji.
