Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, January 20: Chairman National Commission for Scheduled Castes Mr. P.L. accompanied by Vice Chairman Mr. Raj Kumar Verka, Mr. Raju Parmar and Mr. Ishwar Singh today visited Punjab Vidhan Sabha and met Speaker Dr. Charanjit Singh Atwal.
Emphasised the need to ensure proper implementation of welfare schemes for SCs in Punjab, Mr. Punia discussed the status of various schemes with Dr. Atwal. He said these schemes should be implemented at grass root level in true spirit.
Dr. Atwal also welcomed and thanked Mr. Punia and other members of delegation for visiting Punjab Vidhan Sabha. Speaker also honoured Mr. Punia and members of delegation.
Prominent amongst those present on the occasion Chairman Punjab State Commission for Scheduled Castes Mr. Rajesh Bagha, Member Mr. Parkash Singh Gardhiwala, MLAs Mr. Tarlochan Singh Soond, Dr. Ajaib Singh Bhatti and Mr. Harpreet Singh.
