Yes, Rani Mukerji who’s heavily pregnant and is due in January 2016 will be giving the Chopra khandaan their first chirag! And the festivities have already begun in full swing in the Chopra household.
Rani, who’s gearing up to welcome the baby in two months from now, along with hubby Aitya Chopra, has been shying away from prying eyes ever since the news of her pregnancy broke out. Recently, she was seen posing for pictures with Preity Zinta at a Diwali bash, following which she had to be hospitalised to be under medical supervision. But there’s nothing to worry. She’s completely fine and is now gearing up for a grand baby shower celebration.
The latest we hear is that the family is planning a huge baby shower programme, a usual in the Indian household for every pregnant woman. Rani was in the hospital for a few days since the baby’s room was being renovated and she wanted to avoid the dust and noise. Now that she’s back in the house, a huge baby shower is underway and her mother-in-law Pamela Chopra is leaving no stone unturned to make this a grand affair. After all, she’s the happiest in the house.
