Police will hold a news conference this afternoon to provide an update on their investigation into a double murder outside a Chinatown restaurant over the weekend.
According to police, a group of men were involved in an altercation in front of the New Ho King restaurant on Spadina Avenue near Nassau Street at around 3:15 a.m. on Sunday when a suspect opened fired, killing two people and wounding three others.
So far police have not released any information about a potential motive for the shooting or a description of the suspect.
It is also not clear if the suspect may have been captured by surveillance camera in the area.

A source previously told CTV News that two of the victims who were injured in the shooting appear to have been bystanders.
Staff Inspector Greg McLane will speak with reporters at today’s news conference, which is scheduled for 2 p.m.
