TORONTO:Toronto paramedics say one man is in serious condition after he was stabbed in the neck during a fight outside a pizza shop in downtown Toronto in the early hours of Thursday morning.
A sergeant from Toronto police 51 Division said they were called to the intersection of Yonge and Gerrard streets at 1:30 a.m. for a report of a man suffering from a stab wound outside the Big Slice pizza shop on Yonge Street.
They allege the man was stabbed during a fight on the street between as many as six people.
Two suspects have been arrested and police believe three or four men are still outstanding. Police have also recovered the weapon used.
The victim, described by paramedics as a young adult male, was taken to a hospital trauma centre with serious injuries.
