Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Toronto, A 21-year-old woman told police she was sexually assaulted when she went into a downtown Toronto beauty boutique for a spa treatment.
The woman was at the Divine Beauty Boutique in the Queen Street and Spadina Avenue area on Sept. 8 when she was approached by a male employee who encouraged her to get a massage.
The woman had originally gone to the store for a facial – a free gift she was offered for purchasing a number of beauty-related products.
The woman agreed to the massage but told police immediately afterwards that she was sexually assaulted during the service.
Police say they are now looking for a suspect who they believe goes by two different names.
A suspect has been identified as 22-year-old Toronto resident Roy Rahamin Somech, otherwise known as Ray Somech.
Investigators have released photos of a suspect, with the hopes of receiving assistance from members of the public.
